I play the hits. I play dancing music. I play the type of music and music videos that makes everyone want to get up and dance all night long. I not only play the top dance hits of yesterday and today but I do it in style.

I use a state of the art professional stereo sound/Video systems and pride myself on the quality of the sound and media presentations with editing capability. It’s one thing to play the top hits; it’s another to have them sounding, looking and feeling great. Say goodbye to going to a dance and finding the sound and video system lacklustre. DJ & VJ Service

Providing music at a function is so much more than just playing CDs or music videos and taking some requests. Professional DJ entertainment starts when the right music is played at the right time all the time.

With Copper Collar DJ & VJ Services (CCDVS) you are always in control of the activities and music. I do not limit my customers with their music selection like most DJ companies do but I do have to play within the constraints of licencing which is why up front consultation is recommended. Open music requests are always welcomed and volume is always always delivered to your requirements.

Music Videos

This I s my specialty with a large projection screen/projector to accompany the sound and is by far the most entertaining service I provide. Excluding all the eye candy like lights and lasers, music videos have proven time and time again to be the life of the party. Most dances have a core of what DJs call the hard core dancers who spend their time dancing and boogying the night away - this is good! There is also a segment of people who are non-dancers who get easily bored and are apt to leave early because the music is not enough to keep them interested. The Music videos I play are guaranteed to keep people around and interested when conversation in a loud dance hall can often be hard to maintain. It really makes a difference in keeping the party going!

Lighting and Effects

Add “Colour” and “Energy” to your event. Do you want something distinctive, something sweet and something fresh? How about some exciting lighting that adds pizazz to your party? I have aquired a fun lighting set-up that will leave you and your guests impressed from the very start! From uplighting to sound active dancing lights, it will keep the dance floor alive and people bopping all evening long!

I do not usually use smoke machines since smoke machines have been known to bother certain people and have been infamously known to set off fire alarms if used too much. If you want smoke at your partty it can be arranged like outdoor events etc.

Copper Collar DJ & VJ Services (CCDVS) is a proud member of Xtendamix music video services which is licensed through AVLA (Audio-Video Licensing Agency Inc.) and is now renamed as Connect Music Licencing. This service allows CCDVS to legally access many thousands of videos both old and new and a wide selection of genres.

Connect Music Licencing is a non-exclusive agency that provides licences on behalf of record companies and producers for the purpose of broadcasting or duplicating audio and video recordings in Canada.

Note: Cancellations and no-shows within one week of a booked event with written agreement to provide a service are subject to invoicing for recovery of full fees for that event. This is due to the fact it is next to impossible to re-book that date to another customer within so short a period of time.
